A Discord channel would be awesome.
Also more in-depth info on how the concept of soulmates works in this society. For example: is the glowing birthstone thing common knowledge? If so what do people in this society think about it? Is it: ‘this person is destined to be your lover’ or more of a ‘this is the person who will always be by your side but not necessarily in a romantic way’? Is this meant to be a romance-focused RP or more about the various forms love can take and multiple interpretations of what ‘soulmate’ actually means?

Building off a bit from the the ideas shared by the Guest above me! Personally, if there were to be a social function in use, I think a chat box on the forum as opposed to a discord channel could be valuable. A discord channel may drive primary socialization away from the website and hinder activity. Whereas if a chat box is implemented on the forum, that will give guests and potential members an area right on the site itself to say hi and ask any questions. However, if the staff would rather opt from having an extra chat function, I respect that choice.
Secondarily, I do agree with the Guest that it would be wonderful to learn more about how soulmates work in this role play. I like the simplicity of the plot and how easy it is to follow. The main thing I'd like to learn more about are the birthstones. Do people wear their birthstone in some form in order to know when they find their soulmate via the glowing? Are they born with their birthstone somehow a part of them? Those are a couple questions to help with any brainstorming. o/

Just wanted to say, the FAQ you made was a great idea and answered our questions well. It'll be fun seeing how other role players use their imagination for what type of soulmate plot they want and how they wear their birthstones.
The code for a chat box depends on which type of service you'd like to use (Proboard's Shoutbox, Chatango, or Cbox). I'm not well-versed with skin layouts but from what I've dabbled in, you can select to turn on the shoutbox on the admin panel or manually grab a code for either a chatango or cbox to put into the skin coding area where there's the "CBOXHERE (530x300px)." What I usually do is press CRTL+F and then put in the "cboxhere" to automatically be lead over to it and replace that text with a chat box. Otherwise I get lost in the coding. =P
To get the code for a chatbox that's not the default "Shoutbox" proboards offers, you would need to register an account on either the Cbox site or Chatango site. If you need help with finding anything, I can lend you a hand. ^^ Just let me know and I'll do what I can.
